In the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top cryptocurrency apps on iOS in Nigeria revealed some interesting trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared based on data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 9.7K in late September and peaking at 15.4K in late October. The app maintained a steady range of 8.7K to 11.2K downloads in December. Active users also grew significantly, starting from 35.8K in late September and reaching 50.2K by the end of December.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet had a relatively stable download trend, fluctuating between 7.6K and 10K throughout the quarter. Active users increased from 13.9K in late September to 18.7K in early December, before stabilizing around 16.7K towards the end of the year.

Cenoa experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 9.4K in late September and dropping to as low as 932 in mid-December. However, there were slight recoveries with peaks of 3.6K in late October and 2.7K in early December.

Bybit: Buy & Trade Crypto showed a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 2.7K in late September and peaking at 3.5K in early December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 7.5K to 9.4K over the same period.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto had a significant spike in downloads in November, reaching 8K in early December. The active user base also saw a sharp increase from 3K in late September to 12.7K by mid-December.
